We Were Promised "Change" - We Got It!!

During the presidential campain we heard over
and over the promise of "change" from one of the
candidates. Signs with just the word "CHANGE"
were held up at rallies, and the rhetoric was filled
with the promises and prospects of change.
We weren't really told what kind of change was
coming, and if we had truly known, I believe that
the outcome of the election would have been
different.
AMERICANS ARE ANGRY! We are troubled!
We are upset! Some are fearful! Many simply
worry that their lives are about to be totally
disrupted. AMERICANS don't like what they
perceive the future to be with the current trends
and attitudes displayed by the leaders of our
government!
Many with whom I've spoken, normally quiet,
uninvolved citizens, are passionate about the
wrong turns the current administration and
Congress are taking us! There is a somewhat-
less-than-quiet revolution taking place in the
marketplaces and homes of our great nation!
WE DON'T LIKE WHAT WE SEE AND HEAR,
and we intend to do SOME THINGS about it!
We will speak out!
We will make phone calls!
We will send emails!
We will attend town halls!
We will send faxes!
WE WILL VOTE IN THE MID-TERM ELECTION!!
DO YOU HEAR THAT, WASHINGTON - WE WILL VOTE
IN THE MID-TERM ELECTION, AND THINGS
WILL "CHANGE"!!
Washington, are you listening?
Liberals, are you paying attention?
"Quick-change" politicians, take note!
WE DO NOT WANT OR NEED A "COMPLETE
OVERHAUL OF OUR HEALTHCARE SYSTEM"!
We do not want the voices of dissent to be silenced!
We have always valued and held dear the privilege
of stating our differing viewpoints!
WE DO NOT WANT THE PALESTINIAN AND
ARAB PEOPLES TO BE CATERED TO AT THE
RISK OF ISRAEL'S WELLBEING AND FUTURE!
We do not want a "civil militia" to roam our streets!
We do not want Communists and Marxists in control!
WE DO NOT WANT A "ONE-PARTY" GOVERNMENT!
We do not want D.C. to tell us how to live!
We do not want a Stalin/Mussolini/Marxist-type leader!
WE DO NOT WANT TAXPAYER-FUNDED MURDERS
OF HUMANS STILL IN THE WOMB!!
We do NOT want our elderly disposed of in a Hitler-
Nazi type of dictatorship!
We do not want our personal protection taken away!
WE HAVE A GOD-GIVEN RIGHT TO "BEAR ARMS"!
We do not want to support other countries at the
loss of American jobs!
We do not want non-Americans to have what they
are not entitled to because they haven't contributed!
WE DO NOT WANT TO LIVE IN FEAR BECAUSE
OF WHAT SOMEONE ELSE THINKS WE ARE
THINKING!
We do not want an intimidating religion to infiltrate
and populate our nation to the potential exclusion
and eradication of our Christian/Judeo beliefs!
WE DO NOT WANT OUR FREEDOMS AND OUR
TRADITIONAL WAY OF LIFE ERODING BEFORE
OUR EYES AND EARS!!
Washington, are you listening? We are angry at
your arrogance and fear-mongering! Those of us
who cannot or will not or are afraid to speak up
will be spoken for by those of us who, like them,
HAVE EVERYTHING TO LOSE AND EVERYTHING
TO KEEP!!
We don't like or want the kind of "changes" that are
taking place and that loom in our future! WE WANT
A GOVERNMENT AND LEADERS THAT TRULY
CARE ABOUT OUR CITIZENS, AND SHOW IT BY
THEIR LAWS, ATTITUDES, AND ACTIONS!!
In other words "take your 'change' and shove it"!
